I am a forestry consultant with ten years of experience across the industry. During my career I’ve worked with an international set of clients including provincial/state governments, federal governments, industry, pulp and paper producers, electric transmission utilities, non-profits and universities with landholdings from <100 hectares all the way to millions of hectares.
My work has varied from ecosystem management all the way to land valuation and supply chain planning.
My skillset combines traditional forestry knowledge with a comprehensive set of technical skills that expands into geomatics, statistics, and computer science. I began my training as a forest technologist and continued on through undergraduate work and graduate level Geomatics and programming training. Many of the skills I’ve developed have been self-taught or learned while working on projects for clients.
I favor solving complex problems with simple, innovative solutions. I possess not only the technical skills, but the communication and project management experience to make implementation smoother, faster and more cost-effective.
